Key features
These 40 credit degree / masters level modules have been designed to enhance the quality of provision for patients and their families / carers who have suffered a stroke. We aim to enable practitioners to develop their professional knowledge and skills through study and analysis of their practice in the care and rehabilitation of people with a stroke. The course focuses on the development of the practice-based skills to provide an optimal care environment for effective stroke care, 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
You will also be equipped to facilitate and / or lead on improving services for stroke patients, their carers and families and the interdisciplinary team.
A variety of learning methods will be utilised including lead lectures, demonstrations, group work, problem based learning, critical reading, seminars and discussions.
