I am currently project manager for the OcEn project, 'Ocean energy sector as contribution towards carbon neutrality'. Prior to joining the project, I managed two Fisheries Industry Science Partnership projects at the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ: and . 
IÂÌñ»»ÆÞ™ve had a varied career in research, science communication and project management. Following a PhD studying butterfly migration, my roles have included working for a start-up developing the technology to use bees in airport security, acting as the Royal Society of BiologyÂÌñ»»ÆÞ™s press officer, and visiting universities around the world with the Nobel Prize Inspiration Initiative. In 2022, I published a popular science book, , which tackles challenging questions about how we set conservation priorities: In the midst of a global extinction, what should we save?
