About Christie

Christie is an Associate Dean of Education and Student Experience and the Head of the Centre for Teaching Enhancement and Innovation at the °µÍø½âÃÜ. She is a Senior Fellow of Advance HE and an Associate Professor of Higher Education.

With a strong commitment to enhancing learning and teaching, Christie leads initiatives that foster academic excellence and student success. Her work focuses on curriculum innovation, digital transformation, inclusive education, and creating engaging learning environments that empower students to thrive.

Christie collaborates across Faculties to drive strategic improvements in pedagogy and assessment to ensure a high-quality educational experience. She champions approaches that support diverse learners and promote equity and is dedicated to shaping transformative educational practices for the future.

She is currently leading a broad portfolio of work that includes chairing the University's GenAI response to education, leading a digital exams and assessment transformation project and launching online programmes.
