ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Bath Branch
ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ members working in Bath will automatically become a member of the Bath branch.
Our branch includes members working at NHS, independent, higher education and care home employers, as well as students.
Getting involved in your local branch is a great way of getting your voice heard at the ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ as well as accessing many learning and development events. The branch holds county conferences four times a year where a wide range of speakers are invited to talk on nursing matters. It is also a good opportunity to network with other members and discuss important issues.
The branch is always looking for local ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ members to get involved in our work, including taking part in campaigns to help expand the profile of nursing and highlight issues which matter to nurses.

Our branch annual general meeting (AGM)
Every year, our branch holds its AGM, where we:
- review our branch activity over the past 12 months
- map out what we want to achieve over the next year
- elect the branch committee for the coming year
- discuss with your fellow branch members the issues which are most important to you right now
Our branch and ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Congress
All members can attend ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Congress for free. There are also fully funded voting places for members, where travel, accommodation and food are provided. Voting members are there to listen, participate and vote on resolutions that are proposed by ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ branches, forums and committees across the UK.
This year's applications for funded voting places are closed. Details of 2026 funded places will be posted here as soon as available.

Get active – what does that even mean?
I became ‘ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ active’ in about 2013 but what does ‘get active’ even mean? Well, for me it's been a rollercoaster of a journey. A journey through which I have made life-long friends and made a difference to colleagues in my workplace and across the profession.
