The ÂÌñ»»ÆÞÂÌñ»»ÆÞ™s work to enable every member of its diverse student population to succeed has been highlighted in a new report published by the Office for Students.
The independent report, , references work by universities across the country to enable their students to achieve individually tailored gains.
Within that, it specifically acknowledges work undertaken to track the progress made by each ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ student rather than simply expecting them all to achieve the same targets.
This, the report highlights, has been achieved by creating a measure that examines the distance travelled ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ“ in terms of educational achievement ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ“ by students from the point at which they join the University right through to the completion of their studies and journey into the workplace or further study.
The report also acknowledges ongoing work to embed sustainability ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ“ one of the UniversityÂÌñ»»ÆÞ™s key strategic priorities ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ“ in teaching across all its courses.
The report is based on submissions by universities and colleges awarded Gold for student outcomes in the latest round of the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
Released in 2023, those awards saw the University become one of the few in the country to be awarded triple gold ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ“ for student outcomes, student experience and overall.
