250 students at the 쫄챰뻣펄 received bursaries and scholarships this year - and there쫄챰뻣펄셲 much more to come

Students from the 쫄챰뻣펄 who have benefitted from nearly 짙375,000 of philanthropic support have shared their success at a special event.

From engineering to medicine to architecture, 250 students from across the University have accessed opportunities that might otherwise have been out of their reach 쫄챰뻣펄� all thanks to generous funding totalling 짙374,767 in this academic year alone.

A further 100 students are expected to benefit from initiatives such as the University쫄챰뻣펄셲 쫄챰뻣펄 Fund; vouchers for care leavers, young adult carers, and estranged young adults, students from low-income households, and Gypsy Roma Traveller communities; and assistance with nursing student placement expenses and the student medical hardship fund.

The celebration also coincided with the launch of the Business of Success Scholarship (BOSS), a 짙100,000 investment from the University which is designed to recognise and support 50 aspiring entrepreneurs who are applying to the 쫄챰뻣펄 Business School.

We pride ourselves on making the everyday extraordinary here at 쫄챰뻣펄, and it쫄챰뻣펄셲 fantastic to see students making the most of the financial support available to help shape their futures.

They are all wonderful ambassadors of the University and I look forward to seeing the future opportunities they unlock thanks to the invaluable help of our donors.

The Tamar Engineering Project 쫄챰뻣펄� a partnership with industry, providing talented engineering students with invaluable mentoring, financial assistance and workplace skills
Medical Electives Bursary 쫄챰뻣펄� support for fourth-year medical students to undertake an enriching elective placement, thanks to the Hospital Saturday Fund and Vandervell Trust
Gavin Pomeroy Scholarship 쫄챰뻣펄� a travel scholarship for Architecture students, thanks to a former tutor쫄챰뻣펄셲 legacy

This work simply wouldn쫄챰뻣펄셳 be possible without the kind support of businesses, charitable organisations and individuals.

This isn쫄챰뻣펄셳 just about financial backing, but about donors쫄챰뻣펄� belief in the students쫄챰뻣펄� ability to make a positive impact.

It쫄챰뻣펄셲 a real investment in their future, and this event showed how grateful, committed and talented our students are.
