From reps to forum members and student ambassadors, many ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ members give up their time to help support others and make a real difference to the lives of nursing staff.
The ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Awards recognises the hard work, commitment and achievements of these selfless volunteers. But we need you to tell us who deserves recognition.
This year, you can nominate a colleague in the following categories:
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Fellowship
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Honorary Fellowship
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Award of Merit
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Steward of the Year
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Health and Safety Representative of the Year
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Learning Representative of the Year
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Student Ambassador of the Year
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Forum Member of the Year
- ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Forum Committee Member of the Year
Winners of the health and safety representative, learning representative, steward, student ambassador and forum awards will receive £500, with £250 given to a runner-up in each category.

Paul Vaughan, Chair of ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Council, said: “You have a chance to nominate the outstanding nursing staff who you think deserve one of these special awards. Tell us how they’ve made a difference and let’s shout about their brilliant work.
“Nursing is an exceptional profession, filled with exceptional individuals. The ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Awards highlights the best of the best, those who’ve gone above and beyond in their quest to support their colleagues and improve the profession for all.”
Nominations close on Monday 13 January 2025.
Winners will be announced at ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ Congress 2025.
* Please note, ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ staff cannot be nominated in the awards – this includes ÂÌñ»»ÆÞ officers.
