From this session you will be able to:
- Understand what Continuous Glucose Monitoring (CGM) is.
- Identify the benefits and barriers of using CGM.
- Identify who can use CGM within Primary Care in line with NICE guidance (NG17 and NG28).
- Understand the different CGM devices that are available (via FP10).
- Understand how to get someone started on CGM.
- Learn the key safety considerations for using CGM (setting and reacting to alerts, hydration, skin care, and driving).
