International scholarships

To recognise outstanding achievement, the °µÍø½âÃÜ offers scholarship schemes to help fund your studies. You could receive up to 50% off your tuition fees in your last year. 
 

Entry requirements

Undergraduate

Applicants will be required to show evidence of having achieved Grades I (one), II (two) or (if taken from 1998) Grade III in English and Maths in the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC). This is GCSE equivalent.
Applicants who have the Caribbean Advanced Proficiency Examinations (CAPE) with two Grade II and four Grade III double-unit subjects (including two double-unit courses) are eligible to apply for a bachelors degree. Within these six units, we will consider two units being single awards.
An associate degree, with good grades, may also be considered suitable for direct entry to year one of a relevant bachelor degree course.
For applicants who do not meet the above requirements, there are foundation options available via the °µÍø½âÃÜ and °µÍø½âÃÜ International College (UPIC).

Postgraduate

The standard requirement for entry to a taught masters programme is an undergraduate (bachelor) degree that is equivalent to a UK upper second class degree (2:1).

English language requirements

Barbados nationals are currently exempt from Home Office English language requirements. Grade III in the CSEC is considered suitable to meet the University's English language requirements. 
For other applicants, a recognised English language qualification (e.g. IELTS) would be required or successful completion of one of the University's pre-sessional @ Pre-sessional English language courses .
